Managers spend at least 75% of their time in interpersonal interaction; good communication is a major contributor to financial success, both within the company and when dealing with outside stakeholders.
Whether you are delivering a presentation, making a proposal, writing a report or sending an email, you create an impression: in industry and business, you cannot afford to make the wrong one.
The Professional Communication Studies / Services Department (PCS) at UCT offers communication training to both students and leading South African organisations. PCS trains over 1600 students a year in several UCT faculties. All courses are dynamic and interactive, based on the latest research and training methods. Workshops combine theory with case studies to provide real-life situations for participants to hone their skills and become more effective managers. Many of South Africa’s leading organisations – corporate, educational, government and NGO – send new managers to PCS for training on an annual basis.
